Q: Will the Keepr work on my Mac OS X?
A: Video playback is formatted only for Windows XP or newer Windows operating systems. For video playback on a Mac, Boot Camp 4.0 with a Windows 7 installation may be an option.
Q: Will the Keepr work on my office PC?
A: The Keepr will work with all Windows XP or newer Windows operating systems. Certain corporate environment PCs have restrictions on USB usage and you may need to check with your system administrator for the correct permissions to allow for video playback.
Q: How many times can you watch the video that comes loaded on the Keepr?
A: You can watch the video as many times as you’d like. It works and acts very similar to a DVD that can be watched an unlimited number of times.
Q: Do I need to install any software first?
A: No. All Keepr’s are fully Plug-and-Play when used with Windows XP or newer Windows operating systems
Q: Can I view the video on my PC without the Keepr?
A: No. The Keepr must be plugged in for the video to playback similarly to how a DVD must be inserted in a DVD player for playback to operate correctly.
Q: Can I copy the video content from the Keepr to my hard drive?
A: No, if you copy the content from the Keepr to your hard drive, the video will not playback.
Q: What is the warranty for this product?
A: 60 day warranty on manufacturing defects.
Q: A window pops up In front of the Keepr auto run menu. Am I doing something wrong?
A: No, this is normal. The Windows 7 & 8 operating systems will automatically pop up a dialogue box. Depending on the speed of your computer, this will pop up either before or after the auto run menu pops up. Disregard the Windows operating system pop-up and click only the auto-run window that states "Click here to Launch Keepr Experience." Although other system configurations may be able to play back this content, for an optimal experience, the following system configurations are recommended:
